Fitness Instructor

Purpose of the role

This role is designed for individuals who like personal training as Well-Fit give this experience to all members. You as Personal Trainer as our members get the 1-2-1 touch

Key tasks and responsibilities

Customer service: As the ‘face’ of Well-Fit you will be the first contact for new and existing members in the gym. It is essential that we make the right first impression every time and ensure that members leave the gym already looking forward to their next visit. You will be on hand to talk and at times help members with their workout or if they need help or assistance with equipment or their motivation to ensure members the getting the best from there fitness passports

Operational and administrative responsibilities: You will be responsible for running the operational processes outlined in the job description. In addition, your remit will include new member contact, shadowing of senior employees, participate in group exercise, study time, Inductions (only when qualified to NVQ level II) for new members, conduct health checks for new and existing members, administration of fitness passports, maintenance and cleanliness of all fitness equipment for hygiene and safety purposes.

The person: This role requires a vibrant, enthusiastic and professional individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. An individual with a passion for fitness, whose ambition is to become a successful and knowledgeable rounded fitness professional.

The ability to drive yourself and others around you is vital and you must be a problem solver and able to act using you own initiative. Good organisation skills will also be required to ensure that reports and tasks are completed and you must be able to maintain a fun environment for members and your fellow colleagues. Willingness to learn and develop new skills is vital.

Membership Consultant

Purpose of the role

The purpose of the Membership Consultant is to assist the General Manager in generating club revenue through achieving sales targets. You will be required to provide an excellent service to both existing and potential new members, and generate interest in the club through sales leads, making appointments to ensure that membership sales are achieved and targets are met.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Communication: It is paramount to the club’s success that the Membership Consultant maintains an open line of communication with all department heads. You will be required to attend daily meetings with your General Manager and when requested, attend monthly sales launch meetings set by the Regional Sales and Marketing Manager.

Sales production: You will be responsible for assisting the Membership Manager with planning and preparing weekly promotion and sales plans. Daily goals will also need to be set, ensuring that the number of referrals from all customer contacts are fully maximised. You will also ensure that the club is fully marketed through outreach and local public relations, by organising monthly members evenings to enhance the members experience and help reduce membership attrition.

Administrative responsibilities: You will be responsible for ensuring that all sales reports and daily action plans are completed in a timely manner as outlined in the job description.

The person: The role of the Membership Consultant requires a confident, enthusiastic and professional individual, results driven and able to act using his/her own initiative. Good organisational skills will be required to ensure that reports and tasks are completed. Excellent communication skills will be necessary when dealing with members. The ability to maintain a fun environment for members and fellow colleagues is paramount, and although formal qualifications are not essential for this role, a level of sales experience and the willingness to learn new skills is vital.

Health and Fitness Manager

Purpose of the role

The Health and Fitness Manager manages the overall Fitness product including personal training and group exercise within the business, responsible for recruiting, co-ordinating, motivating and providing business support to a team of Personal Trainers ensuring all members have the best possible fitness experience.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Communication: It is vital that the Health and Fitness Manager maintains an open line of communication to the General Manager and other departments on all aspects of the Personal Training business. The Health and Fitness Manager will be required to hold regular meetings with the Studio and Events Manager, Personal Trainers and Fitness Consultants.

Customer service: Responsible for ensuring members receive excellent service on the gym floor, the Health and Fitness Manager will ensure all our members have access to personal training, understand the benefits, and are in receipt of a high quality product.

Operational and administrative responsibilities: The Health and Fitness Manager will be responsible for running the overall fitness operation within the club. You will be required to produce monthly business reports to your Divisional Fitness Manager and maintain weekly reports for inspection.

The person: The role of the Health and Fitness Manager requires an enthusiastic, professional individual with entrepreneurial skills. They must be a problem solver and able to act using their own initiative. Good organisation and administrative skills are also required as well as a proactive approach to his/her work to ensure budgets/targets and KPI’s are reached and that the personal training business within the club runs successfully and is highly profitable. Excellent communication skills are necessary when dealing with members, Personal Trainers and colleagues.

Personal Trainer

Purpose of the role

Well-Fit concept 'Personal Training' clubs has recently been launched within the club. We are now watching results of members achieving goals and telling their friends. The Personal Trainers have begun building their client bases and the financial rewards are rolling in. Due to the early promising trends we are about to undergo our second wave and are looking for more stars that want to earn what they are worth.

Why do it?

We only have one personal trainer per club and you will have the rights to it!

What is a license?

A license is an agreement between you and Well-Fit, which allows you to conduct your own business within Well-Fit.
